LINDA TEPEDINO

Founder and Human Resources Consultant

Linda Tepedino is a Human Resources consultant and co-founder of BlackWhiteGray Consulting Group,
Inc. She formed the company after 25 years in Human Resources leading HR strategy and operations in
growing and changing organizations, and now applies that experience to support small and growing
companies.


From 2009 – 2014, Linda was the Chief Human Resources Officer at Consumer Reports. Prior to that, she
held senior HR leadership roles at The New York Times Company, ThompsonReuters, The Walt Disney
Company, The Readers Digest Association, Reed Elsevier, and JPMorganChase, gaining experience
implementing successful talent strategies in the U.S., Europe, and Asia.


Throughout her career, she successfully developed and rebranded Human Resources functions based on
business partnership, and staffed and strengthened senior leadership teams to position them to lead change.
Other accomplishments include building an innovative recruitment function to fill more than 300 jobs in nine
months, and designing sales incentives and compensation structures to remain competitive and retain talent.
She has successfully led the HR aspects of mergers, acquisitions and start-ups, and integrated new
subsidiaries. Her experience also includes managing international Human Resources operations.


Linda holds a B.A. in Organizational Behavior and Communication from New York University, and is
certified in Conflict Resolution from Columbia University's International Center for Cooperation and
Conflict Resolution. A trained mediator, Linda volunteers with the New York Peace Institute, and has built
conflict resolution systems for companies going through dramatic change. In addition, she is currently a
moderator for the Collaborative Gain executive councils, where she formed a council focused on HR
leadership and the employee experience.
